Title: Insight into parameter estimation of gravitational wave signals
Abstract:
During the last years Bayesian Inference had become one of the most useful tools in astrophysics. This inference is used in the gravitational wave field to get the probability distribution for the physical parameters of the source, such as the masses, the spins or the distances, between confidence intervals. For this work has been used the last, fast and very accurate phenomenological waveform models developed at the UIB in order to perform parameter estimation of gravitational wave signals detected during the first, second and half third observational periods. In this talk, convergence studies of the algorithm, computational efficiency, automatization of the processes and an interpretation of the physical results will be presented.
