10th Anniversary of the Discovery of Gravitational Waves
September 15 - September 17

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the momentous first detection of gravitational waves, GW150914, a three-day event will be held in Mallorca, Spain. Monday, September 15, and Tuesday, September 16 there will be an international scientific meeting at the Auditorium of the ParcBit campus, adjacent to the University of the Balearic Islands. This will be followed by outreach activities for local students and the general public on Wednesday, September 17.

There is no registration fee. The deadline for registrations including abstracts for contributed talks is July 20, and for general attendance, the deadline is August 31. (No abstracts are required for posters.) As Palma remains a popular tourist destination in September, we recommend booking your travel and accommodation as soon as possible.
