The following Wednesday 8 January 2020 at 15h, Miquel Jorquera (Quantum Gravity Unit) and Isabel Anaí Echeverría Oviedo (Optical Neuroimaging Unit) will present the PhD programs of Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University in the classroom A1 of Antoni Maria Alcover i Sureda building (UIB) at 15.00h.
OIST is an interdisciplinary graduate school offering a 5-year PhD program in Science and 2-6 months Research Internships. Over half of the faculty and students are recruited from outside Japan, and all education and research is conducted entirely in English. OIST will cover your living and travel expenses (PhD students get one trip per year to a destination of their choice). The projects are flexible and you can propose your own to any of the research units.
